About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners in achieving their academic goals.

As a Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tuition to learners who require support in English Language and Literature. You will create engaging lesson plans, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.

You will work closely with learners, guardians, and teachers to ensure academic success. Our Tutors are expected to maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tuition to learners in English Language and Literature
  • Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition that is designed to engage, inspire, and teach
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with learners, guardians, and teachers to ensure academic success
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience
  • Live and be eligible to work in the UK
  • Willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process
  • Commitment to safeguarding
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex needs
