Engineering Team Lead Opportunity


Premier Group Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join their R&D team in designing next-generation zero-emission technologies in the marine sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team, collaborating with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics Engineers.
  • Oversee design and project delivery for all aspects of engineering and production.
  • Ensure designs meet specification requirements and projects are delivered on time.
  • Implement quality management processes and drive improvements.


Requirements:

  • HND/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in team and project management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong background in complex/hi-tech systems, preferably in regulated industries (automotive, marine, aerospace, etc.).
  • Knowledge of control systems/power distribution systems.
  • Experience in integrating electrical/electronic/mechanical or hydraulic systems.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the Marine industry.
  • Knowledge or experience in powertrain or propulsion systems.
  • Experience with electric vehicles.
