About the Role

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Court of Protection Caseworker to join our client's team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to clients, managing their household and personal budgets, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Main Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the payment of bills, balancing of accounts, and management of household budgets.
  • Support Coordination: Liaise with third-party contractors to provide necessary support to clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Emergency Response: React promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing critical support to clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports, updating the appointed duty on clients' financial statuses, requests, and changes in circumstances.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other stakeholders, working closely to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Panel Accreditation: Must be panel accredited with a background in CoP work.
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing household budgets, property sales and purchases, and overseeing investments.
  • Skills: Empathetic and interpersonal skills to support clients, with a driving license due to the nature of the job.
