About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Conference Coordinator to join our team at Delta by Marriott Nottingham Belfry. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our conference and events facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, and conference and events areas.
  • Lead by example, ensuring brand standards are maintained and guest experiences are consistently high.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities and contribute to the growth of our Food and Beverage business.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional service and ensure seamless event execution.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a hospitality environment, preferably in a busy meetings and events, banqueting, and weddings venue.
  • Restaurant and bar management experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.
  • People management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of food and beverage trends and best practices.
  • Knowledge of wines and spirits.
