Higher Level Teaching Assistant Job Description

At Vision Teaching, we are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in a Lewisham-based school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deployed across the school to cover classes and provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality education to pupils.
Requirements:
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of teaching in EYFS, KS1, KS2.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Desirable: Experience teaching classes within a primary school.
