Aspiring Primary Teacher - Primary Teaching Assistant

EdEx is seeking an Aspiring Primary Teacher to work as a Primary Teaching Assistant in a fantastic Primary School in the Borough of Barking & Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain experience and develop their teaching skills in a supportive and challenging environment.

The school is renowned for producing some of the best teachers in London and has a strong reputation for providing high-quality education. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students with various additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech and Language needs.

You will have the opportunity to enroll onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Primary School starting September 2025. This will provide you with the chance to gain a teaching qualification while working in a real classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with various additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech and Language needs
  • Work closely with experienced teachers to develop teaching skills and knowledge
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide one-to-one and group interventions to raise attainment
  • Enroll onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Primary School
Requirements:
  • Good degree from a reputable University
  • Good A Levels and GCSEs across the board
  • Confident and ambitious to make a positive impact on pupils
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Commitment and ambition to succeed
