Job Summary:

Henderson Scott is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a pivotal role in securing new contracts and driving business growth.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Contract Management: Drafting and negotiating bespoke contract terms, ensuring compliance with the MoD structure, and creating confidentiality, loan, license, and NDA agreements for approval.
  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through strategic planning and relationship-building with customers.
  • Contract Delivery: Ensuring the successful delivery of contracts by reviewing deliverables and acceptance criteria, and acting as the primary point of contact for contractual information and agreements.
  • Communication: Effective communication with stakeholders at all organisational levels, including representing the commercial team in progress/reviews and customer meetings.

Requirements:

  • Contract Management Experience: Experience of drafting, negotiating, and agreeing contracts and agreements.
  • Communication Skills: A confident communicator, both orally and in writing.
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Comfortable building effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and analytical approach.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the defence or aerospace industries would be an advantage.
  • Security Clearance: Eligibility for security clearance.
