Job Opportunity: Family Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Practitioner to join our team at NHS. As a Family Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise patients over the telephone, after referral from NHS Direct or another Practice Plus Group call centre, who require GP advice.
  • Work as a Primary Care Centre GP as required by service demands during a session, or to cover as a Practice Plus Group Doctor on the GP rota.
  • Work within the prescribing formulary taking account of the minimum recommended length of prescribed treatment.
Requirements:
  • GMC registration certificate and inclusion on the GP Performers List with a valid CCT.
  • Experience to confidently manage acute and chronic presentations for both adult and paediatric patients, with a proven ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with experience of urgent care assessment and good IT/keyboard skills.
  • Up to date with all your compliancy documentations including mandatory training.
