About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our water design team in Leeds. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary department, you will be responsible for delivering detailed designs for water-related projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for water management challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including the preparation of capability statements and tender submissions.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution (e.g., ICE or CIWEM).
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of water and wastewater non-infrastructure design, including process engineering and MEICA.
  • Extensive experience in design, contract, and tender preparation, tender assessment, and contract administration.
  • Experience of mentoring and developing others.
