Role OverviewAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development and well-being of students. You will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality instruction, provide individualized support, and contribute to the overall success of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and assist with the planning and evaluation of teaching activities.
- Provide targeted support to students with varying learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Lead small group sessions and provide one-to-one support as required.
- Assist with classroom management and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the effective implementation of educational programs and strategies.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working in a primary school setting, ideally with a focus on SEN.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with specific SEN needs such as Autism, Dyslexia, etc.
- Additional qualifications or training relevant to the role.
