Job Title: Locum Specialist Registrar

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Registrar to join our team as a Locum Specialist Registrar in Anaesthetics ITU. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care in their area of specialty under the supervision of a Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in the teaching and training programs for medical students and junior staff.
  • Engage in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to NHS Trust guidelines and policies regarding patient safety, infection control, and data protection.
  • Participate in mandatory training and regular appraisals.
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Must have completed core training (CST/CT2) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant specialty.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in conducting clinical audits or research.
