We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Despatch Team as a Logistics Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Picking and Loading: Ensure accurate picking, assembly, and loading/unloading of products to the right vehicle, minimizing damage and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the Line Manager.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the team to meet distribution deadlines, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate Forklift Trucks and other MHE, adhering to internal procedures for maintenance and use.
- Quality Control: Identify areas with potential risk to food safety and take corrective action.
- Reporting and Communication: Report equipment faults, defects, or potential hazards to the immediate Manager and follow instructions, training, procedures, and guidelines.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in a logistics or distribution role.
- Skills: Good numerical and verbal skills, attention to detail, and a drive for results. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with a flexible approach.
