Position: SCG Specialist Senior Modeller

Role Overview

This position demands a high level of proficiency in advanced data and modelling methodologies, particularly utilizing Supply Chain Guru (SCG) for network modelling. The role is integral to a large-scale, complex, and multi-year transformation initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:


• Serving as an authority on SCG modelling methodologies, architectural best practices, and procedural guidelines.

• Collaborating closely with senior operational leaders and sponsors to identify, model, and quantify opportunities.

• Transforming real-world scenarios and data into actionable models, translating technical concepts into insights and recommendations.

• Developing, maintaining, and refining models while ensuring comprehensive documentation of assumptions and data sources.

• Innovating and enhancing modelling techniques and functionalities.

• Fostering relationships with key modelling partners, including Coupa and the Modelling Community.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a substantial background in Network Modelling, with several years of experience using SCG or comparable software, including formal accreditation in designing, developing, and delivering complex models.

Additionally, you should possess:


• Experience in logistics operations, preferably within mail and parcel or network sectors.

• A minimum of 3 years managing large datasets, showcasing a robust quantitative background, including numerical modelling.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and enhancing complex, large-scale networks.

• Familiarity with optimization logic, model structuring, and documenting outputs and insights.

• Proven ability to work effectively within a team, ideally with some leadership experience, demonstrating proactive and autonomous work habits.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-specialists.
