About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Admin Assistant to join our General Merchandise team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of our growth plans and providing excellent administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review competitor pricing to maintain our competitive position and ensure timely launches.
  • Conduct competitor shop reports and provide valuable feedback to the team.
  • Liaise with suppliers to chase samples and key information.
  • Prepare approvals for Senior Buyer/Buyer/Assistant Buyer.
  • Ensure data integrity for category SKUs and maintain accurate records.
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong numerical skills and ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and organizational abilities.
  • Adaptability in fast-changing environments and knowledge of market trends, competitor landscape, and target customers.
