About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our investment projects, working closely with our programme and project teams to monitor compliance with Network Rail Corporate governance and rules.

Your key responsibilities will include managing cost reporting, monitoring commercial aspects of allocated projects, and providing proactive advice and guidance to Project Managers on all change, including proposed scope changes. You will also be responsible for identifying and advising on commercial risk/claim events, providing ad-hoc management information and analysis, and producing commercial correspondence and contractual notices.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience in commercially managing investment projects, a good understanding of railway and construction industry forms of contract, and good negotiation skills. You will also need to be educated to degree standard in a related subject and have membership of a relevant professional institute, chartered status.
