About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team at Reed as an HR Advisor. This is a crucial role that requires a strong understanding of HR legislation and employment law for both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Expert Advice: Offer professional guidance and support to managers on employment relations, including investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and attendance management issues.
  2. Support Organisational Change: Assist in managing transitions such as TUPE, restructuring, talent management, and succession planning.
  3. Employee Life Cycle Processes: Assist with end-to-end employee life cycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  4. HR Reporting and Analysis: Produce and deliver HR-related KPIs to the Senior Leadership Team, making recommendations based on findings.
  5. Policy Development and Maintenance: Maintain and update company people policies in line with changing legislation and industry best practices.
  6. Performance Management and Development: Implement Performance Management Systems, provide feedback, and assist in creating development plans for employees.
  7. Organisational Effectiveness and Culture: Collaborate on initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness, culture, and employee engagement.
  8. Learning and Development: Develop learning materials and deliver training sessions in line with legislation and development needs.
Requirements
  1. CIPD Level 5 Qualified or Equivalent: Hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or have a minimum of 5 years' experience in HR Generalist roles.
  2. Strong HR Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of HR legislation and employment law for both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Proactive and Pragmatic: Be proactive, pragmatic, with balanced and sound judgement.
  5. Responsive Problem Solver: Show a responsive approach to problem-solving and solution-focused thinking.
  6. Strong People Skills: Possess strong people skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  7. Proven HR Experience: Have proven experience in advising on HR-associated matters.
  8. Full Driving Licence: Hold a full driving licence and have access to a form of transport to fulfil the role.
