Job Title: LGV Mechanic HGV Technician

Belfast International Airport is a leading airport operator, and we are seeking a skilled LGV Mechanic HGV Technician to join our Motor Transport team.

About the Role:

We are responsible for maintaining a fleet of over 70 vehicles, including vans, 4x4s, tractors, runway sweepers, and fire appliances. Our team ensures that all vehicles are in good working condition, adhering to high standards of personal safety and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet legislative requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Motor Transport Supervisor to deliver a Quality Assurance system.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs.
  • Work in a workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • 5 GCSEs (grade C or above) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Current driving license.
  • NVQ Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Heavy Goods) Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Motor Transport Engineer role in a workshop environment.
