About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a specialist in paediatric speech and language therapy, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of children with speech, language, and communication difficulties and develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure that children receive the best possible support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide advice and guidance to other professionals on the management and care of children with communication difficulties.
  • Act as a specialist in paediatric speech and language therapy, providing expertise and guidance to colleagues.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist who has:

  • Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
