Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified professional to take on the role of Water Quality Project Supervisor at Fort Recruitment, a leading firm in the Water sector.
Company Insight: Our organization specializes in innovative solutions and advanced technologies that enhance the management of clean water and wastewater systems across the UK.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Clean Water sector, including leadership of field teams and project implementation.
- Proficient in conducting clean water network assessments and developing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, personnel oversight, and financial management.
- Familiarity with risk management practices, particularly concerning client relations, workload distribution, scheduling, and reporting.
- Valid UK driving license is required.
- Willingness to travel frequently, typically spending around 2 nights per week away from home.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee project resources and execute strategic plans tailored for clients throughout Scotland.
- Track and report on project progress effectively.
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop and implement maintenance strategies for instrumentation.
- Maintain open communication with both company and client management to ensure visibility of performance metrics, budgets, and KPIs, while identifying business development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications and governance.
- Conduct quality control and verification of data provided by Analysts and Senior Project Engineers.
- Manage the performance of team members and individuals.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to project team members.
- Advocate for Health and Safety practices to safeguard both direct reports and external subcontractors.
- Identify and manage risks associated with all project activities.
- Oversee traffic management safety protocols.
