Job Title: Domestic Violence Advocate Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Domestic Violence Advocate Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of IDVA's, managing referrals, and providing emotional support and guidance to victims of domestic abuse.

About the Role:

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of IDVA's and providing guidance and support as needed
  • Managing referrals and ensuring that victims receive the support they need
  • Working closely with other agencies to provide a comprehensive support service
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to victims of domestic abuse
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience of working with victims of domestic abuse
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of legislation and domestic abuse support strategies
