About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Howells Solution. As a key member of our Planned Maintenance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our social housing units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Inspect properties to identify repair and maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on housing-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports and documents.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
- Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of the Planned Maintenance team, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social housing or property maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and renovation.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer applications.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in housing maintenance.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
