Job OpportunityAn exciting chance to join our new Multi-Million-Pound Aggregate Factory in Goole has opened for a Production Manager. This is a new chapter within Vuba with great progression opportunities as our factory grows.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure bagging lines produce quality products in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
- Build production schedules to meet business demand, allowing for plant shutdowns and maintenance.
- Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard across sites.
- Safely and efficiently manage projects within budget constraints and agreed timelines.
- Exercise cost control to ensure site production aligns with budget and sales requirements.
- Minimise environmental impacts, review environmental performance, and identify potential issues.
- Manage site personnel, address personnel issues promptly, ensure staff training meets company and legislative guidelines, and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Strong SHE leadership and legal compliance, including Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience in aggregate production operations.
- Previous experience of implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 accredited management systems.
- Ability to build and work to production schedules.
- Experience in management of aggregate production plant.
- Control of employees and contractors.
- Experience with management systems and regulatory bodies, ensuring competent site operations management.
- Good standards of English and Maths.
- Nebosh Qualification or IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
