Electrical Inspector Job Description

At Insignis, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverable hardware and verifying all forms of electrical connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough inspections to detect faulty finishing, deterioration of surfaces, and other defects.
  2. Verify correct assembly and electrical connections to ensure compliance with standards.
  3. Monitor operators within the Product Certification Scheme and maintain relevant data records.
  4. Check and complete paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
  5. Produce inspection and quality control documentation, including history sheets.
  6. Care for and use specialized inspection tools, ensuring compliance with procedures.
  7. Meet inspection times and maintain high standards of workmanship, product quality, and safety.
  8. Participate in manual handling and ESD training, and hold relevant certifications.
