The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team at TCR Group. As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out cost-effective bodywork repairs, modifications, and improvements on a wide range of vehicles and GSE equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out bodywork repairs, modifications, and improvements on vehicles and GSE equipment
  • Work to a high standard, adhering to company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and productive work environment
  • Assess and resolve problems in a flexible and adaptable manner
  • Meet deadlines and deliver results in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification
  • Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
  • MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience in mild steel and aluminium
  • Diploma in Accident Repair Body Principles, Paint Principles, and MET Principles

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Coded welding
  • Motor Industry environment experience
  • Airport industry environment experience
  • Exposure to GSE equipment, HGV/Plant equipment
  • Forklift Licence
  • HGV/PSV Licence
