Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the planning and implementation of communication activities and change initiatives, contributing to the overall Change Management strategy.

· Participate in departmental meetings to stay informed about key events and messages, and create proactive campaigns to promote departmental work across various platforms.

· Deliver a comprehensive program of ongoing communication activities that align with strategic priorities and internal design principles.

· Assist in the development and upkeep of the Change Management Plan and the overall Change Delivery timeline.

· Provide high-level advice and guidance to senior staff and elected officials on communication strategies and campaign issues.

· Collaborate with colleagues across various program workstreams to produce cohesive and engaging content that meets program requirements and enhances overall communication efforts.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

· Extensive experience collaborating with partners, residents, and stakeholders.

· Knowledge of the operational context of local government at various levels.

· Relevant degree or professional qualification, or equivalent experience.

Additional Information:

· This position is part-time, requiring 14 hours per week.
