Overview:
As a Waste Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a recycling facility that processes various materials including plastics, paper, and metals. Your primary focus will be to ensure that operational targets are achieved while complying with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations to meet performance indicators.
- Lead and develop the team to improve processing efficiency and output.
- Manage staffing levels to maintain optimal performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Ideal Candidate Background:
Candidates with experience in sectors such as quarry management, concrete production, waste management, metal recycling, and similar fields are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with equipment such as Forklift Trucks, 360 Excavators, or Loading Shovels is advantageous.
Qualifications:
Desirable qualifications include IOSH, NEBOSH, COTC, and First Aid certifications.
Relevant Experience:
Previous roles that align with this position include Quarry Supervisor, Asphalt Plant Manager, Metal Recycling Depot Supervisor, and similar positions.
