Job Title: Clinical Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team in a prison setting. As a key member of the Integrated Healthcare Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to offenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective healthcare strategies to promote and improve health and prevent disease
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, organisations, and agencies to ensure seamless care and continuity
  • Manage and supervise staff, delegating responsibility and authority as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records and ensure confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years' experience at Band 5
  • Working knowledge of current issues and agendas facing prison and offender healthcare
  • Experience of setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards of care
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas with clarity and influence
