About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Credit Manager to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in assessing credit applications, managing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with our underwriting standards.

Your keen understanding of credit processes will help us maintain a robust credit portfolio, balancing growth with risk management. You will contribute to the smooth running of the department and team, dealing with any issues or queries daily.

About You:
  • You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to spot red flags, investigate and approve a new account or recommend more information.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with other departments within the company.
  • You will be resilient and able to think on your feet.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your career to the next stage with a clear succession plan in place with a world-leading company who are continuously growing.

This is a fast-paced department, and you will need to be able to work under pressure. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about credit risk management, we would love to hear from you.

We are a successful, profitable business based at our head office in Middlesbrough, close to the town centre and main transport links. Established in the 1970s, we have continued to grow year on year and have exceeded profits for a third year running.
