About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our team as a Locum Prison Nurse. As a Locum Prison Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals in a prison setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients in a prison setting, adhering to the highest standards of care and professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Registered on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register.
  • Relevant qualification in nursing, such as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing.
  • Proven experience in a prison nursing setting or a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
