About the Job

Ontic, a leading provider of 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team based in Bolton.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance department, and helping out with the wider business.

Key tasks will include:

  • Controlling core financial operational processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of monthly financial outputs from the FP&A team.
  • Providing timely, accurate, and informative month-end information to support senior management and the wider business in understanding key performance drivers.
  • Identifying new informational needs in the business and collecting, analysing, and reporting such information to support management in the decision-making process.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and be extremely organised. A qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable, and you will be a self-starter who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will be able to plan and prioritise workload, supporting and working within a tight-knit finance team. It is essential that you can work with an exceptionally high level of accuracy and maintain focus and concentration during long periods of routine work.
