Castle Employment Group is collaborating with a renowned independent dining establishment located along the coast. We are in search of a dedicated Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in delivering exceptional fresh cuisine in a bustling environment throughout the year.

This role offers an hourly wage of up to £15.00, with compensation for every hour worked. Additional benefits include a fair share of weekly tips, complimentary meals during shifts, provided uniforms, and available parking.

We are keen to connect with candidates who possess a robust background as a Sous Chef, demonstrating expertise in high-volume food preparation and kitchen management.


Key Responsibilities:

- Support in the production and maintenance of consistent food quality and standards across all kitchen operations.

- Engage in all kitchen sections and participate in both lunch and dinner services.

- Adhere to HACCP protocols as outlined in the company’s Food Safety Management guidelines.

- Manage the proper use of kitchen resources, including maintaining cleaning schedules and ensuring accurate documentation.

- Source all food and related products through designated suppliers.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary setting.

- Relevant NVQ/City & Guild qualifications.
