About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and personable Ward Host to join our team at The McIndoe Centre. As the face of our catering department, you will be responsible for liaising with patients, ensuring their catering needs are met, and providing support to the wider team when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Ensure catering needs are noted and shared with the team
  • Support the catering team during peak periods
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a high level of service
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and forward-thinking with a passion for learning
  • Aligned with our core values of Caring, Friendly, Quality, Integrity, and Pride
  • Level 2 Food Safety certification is desirable but not essential
What We Offer

We offer a part-time (22.5 hours/3 days per week) permanent contract with fantastic benefits and opportunities for development and growth within a 5-star hospital setting. This role is based on a 5 out of 7 shift pattern with enhanced rates paid after 7pm.
