Credit and Collections Professional
Mackie Myers is seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Professional to lead the Credit Control team during a key time for the business. This permanent role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to support ongoing queries and drive the team forward.
The Role- Manage outstanding invoices and overdue accounts, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing financial risk.
- Collaborate with senior finance and the wider business to provide regular updates on credit status and cash flow, informing strategic decisions.
- Lead and motivate a team, ensuring efficient operations and effective credit control processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, resolving disputes and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure all practices adhere to relevant laws and company policies, maintaining a high level of compliance.
- Evaluate customers' financial data, setting appropriate credit limits to minimize risk and maximize revenue.
- Identify high-risk accounts and recommend solutions, creating and implementing credit policies to manage risk effectively.
- Support the rollout of a new credit management system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
- Continuously optimize Credit Control processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prior experience in a similar role managing a team and leading credit control operations.
- High volume credit control experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Reporting into senior finance, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- Ideal candidate is immediately available or on short notice, with a strong desire to join a dynamic and growing business like Mackie Myers.
