Menzies Aviation is looking for a dedicated Ramp Agent
Location: Chicago Rockford International Airport Compensation: $19.00 per hour Work Schedule: Part-time, 20 to 25 hours weekly Must be flexible to accommodate varying shifts and weekend duties. Requirements: Valid Driver's License & Social Security card.Key Responsibilities:
The Ramp Agent is tasked with the loading and unloading of luggage, freight, and cargo onto and from commercial aircraft, as well as managing operations in the outbound bag room and baggage claim area. This role involves driving and operating specialized commercial vehicles and requires significant physical effort, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and frequent kneeling.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Efficiently lift and transport up to 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, as well as between aircraft, terminals, and cargo facilities. Engage in frequent bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, stacking, and kneeling in confined spaces. Operate motorized equipment safely. Interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, loading manifests, and routing tags. Maintain safe and secure operations in line with health, safety, security standards, and all regulatory requirements. Attend mandatory training sessions as required by the Company and Airlines. Perform aircraft de-icing during winter months. Adhere to Company uniform standards. Undertake additional duties as assigned.Why Menzies Aviation?

Minimum age of 18 years. Successful completion of drug testing. Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Valid driver's license in good standing. Availability for variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Pass an FBI background check and obtain an Airport security badge.
