About the Role:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our management team at our Byards Keep residential service in Greylees Sleaford. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our team and providing exceptional support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Allocate shifts, book training, and induct new colleagues to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Support the Manager with supervision, ordering medication, and ensuring individuals are supported to manage their finances.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the service is running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
