Children's Support Caregiver

Location: Blindley Heath

Compensation: £17 per hour on weekdays

£18.50 per hour on weekends

Available Shifts: Waking Nights from 10pm to 7am (2 Nights totaling 18 Hours)

Vehicle access is necessary due to the role's geographical requirements.

Your Responsibilities

This position offers a remarkable chance to expand your skill set and become a Children's Complex Care Assistant. You will receive comprehensive training and clinical support to enhance your expertise in various complex care areas, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care, among others. We provide care and support to individuals of all ages, both in the community and within their homes, addressing needs such as spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and other complex conditions. Each day presents unique challenges, ensuring that your role is dynamic and fulfilling. You will undoubtedly brighten the lives of your clients while advancing your own skills and knowledge.

Essential Requirements

Prior experience in childcare, including skills in peg feeding, suctioning, and medication administration, is crucial, along with proficiency in moving and handling equipment.
