MWH Treatment is seeking to enhance its Engineering team with a Senior Engineer - EICA position, suitable for various levels of expertise. This role is pivotal in supporting our ongoing projects with Thames Water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop EICA design outputs that are economically viable, align with specifications, and facilitate effective construction and commissioning. This includes a comprehensive assessment of all associated costs, such as design time, materials, and erection expenses.
  • Utilize standard practices wherever feasible to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure ongoing competitiveness in our engineering solutions.
  • Provide accurate estimates and constructive feedback to the Proposals department.
  • Adhere to established procedures and processes to promote the continuous improvement of the department.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of operational procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate existing procedures to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Document, revise, and oversee effective procedures to ensure seamless departmental operations.
  • Coordinate design efforts with all relevant internal and external disciplines to optimize contract outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive records throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction as a fundamental objective, recognizing that customers include all stakeholders benefiting from our processes.
  • Maintain a personal development plan to support continuous learning.
  • Assist in mentoring and developing team members.
  • Promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Minimize waste across all departmental activities.
  • Incorporate environmental considerations into design processes.
