About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our dynamic team at Sterling Cross. As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, and assembly of hydraulic components, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble components and conduct detailed inspections to diagnose faults, wear, damage, or corrosion.
  • Utilize precise calibrated measuring equipment to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Reassemble parts and support final testing using technical data.
  • Collaborate with test bay engineers and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, including CAA, EASA, and FAA compliance.
Requirements
  • Hydraulic Engineering Background: You will need experience in hydraulic engineering.
  • Qualifications: Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy, numeracy, and literacy are essential.
  • Team Player: You will thrive in a cross-functional team, working well with others to meet deadlines.
  • Customer Focus: You can build strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, with the ability to follow detailed compliance manuals.
  • Organised and Motivated: You can manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload efficiently.
