Job Title: Transport Planner

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Stobart. As a Transport Planner, you will play a central role in creating effective transport plans for our customers within the wider Stobart network, while ensuring compliance with legal responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage and plan drivers, utilizing ongoing communication and state-of-the-art transport software
* Control and plan an agreed amount of resource (vehicles, drivers, trailers), adhering to legal requirements (Working Time Directive and EU drivers hours regulations)
* Ensure daily plans are completed in real-time, managing resources effectively to maximize utilization while minimizing costs
* Maintain organized and updated internal tracking systems
* Utilize in-house planning tools and systems to manage workload and monitor efficiency
* Achieve key performance targets related to fleet safety and efficiency (utilization and costing)
* Collaborate with customer service teams and drivers to ensure customer KPIs and targets are met

**Requirements:**

* Ability to work independently, with a willingness to resolve complex issues
* Organizational skills, with the ability to comfortably manage workload and work in a pressurized environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience using a TMS system
* Experience in an FMCG environment
