About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Oxford region. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing commercial resources and maximizing margin through the placement of subcontractor contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial resources to maximize margin through subcontractor contract placement
  • Control subcontract packages from enquiry to final account
  • Package management and change control
  • Regularly review contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Assess variations and valuations of subcontractor accounts
  • Authorize contract placement, materials, and plant orders
  • Maximize cash flow through supply chain control, measurement, negotiation, invoicing, and payment
  • Prepare monthly cost reports
About You

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with 2+ years of experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor for a Principal Contractor or Subcontractor. You will have a solid level of education, including a minimum of HND qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. You should be able to work seamlessly with clients and the supply chain, control subcontract packages, and demonstrate strong IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages.
