Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Liz Orpwood Recruitment Ltd. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales territories, managing existing clients, identifying and seeking new business opportunities, attending exhibitions and conferences, and providing product demonstrations and training.

About the Role:
  • Develop and manage sales territories to achieve sales targets
  • Manage existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the technical sectors
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote products and services
  • Provide product demonstrations and training to customers and prospects
Requirements:
  • Relevant science, chemistry, or chemical engineering qualifications (Degree Level or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in sales to professional chemists or users of laboratory equipment
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience of selling to sectors within pharma, research, chemical manufacturing, Biotech, or similar
Location:

This role will be based in the North London, West London, and home counties area, requiring easy access to the sales territories.
