New Appointment Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades of facilities equipment and systems.
  • Conduct daily room checks, weekly fire alarm tests, and monthly tap temperature tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Escalate any electrical or plumbing work beyond basic maintenance to external contractors.
  • Upload basic data onto our company system.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Current Adult Enhanced DBS Certificate with Adult Barred list, issued within the last 12 months or be willing to have a new DBS completed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

  • Competitive hourly rate of £20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Weekly pay on a Friday.
