About the RoleAs an Inspector at Xtrac Ltd, you will be responsible for inspecting components to drawing specifications and completing inspection and first-article reports as required. You will need to have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances to carry out manual inspections, as well as utilizing advanced measurement tools such as Mitutoyo / Zeiss CMMs, Contour Trace, Surftest, and 1st principle techniques.
You will be expected to adhere to the company's quality standards and ensure that all inspections are conducted in a timely and accurate manner.
About YouWe are looking for an experienced Inspector who has a strong background in inspection and quality assurance. Ideally, you will have had experience working in an engineering environment and have undertaken an engineering apprenticeship. Previous experience with Mitutoyo CNC CMMs would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
