Higher Education Student Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Higher Education Student Recruitment Officer to join our team at Doncaster College. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting and enrolling a diverse student population, with a strong focus on outreach to underrepresented communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage prospective students from diverse backgrounds.
- Build and nurture relationships with schools, colleges, and community organizations.
- Attend college fairs, community events, and deliver presentations to promote Doncaster College's Higher Education programs.
- Participate in both on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.
- Provide guidance on the application process, financial aid, and student life to prospective students.
- Utilise social media and digital tools to engage with prospective students.
- Track and analyse recruitment data to improve outreach efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and trends.
- Work closely with Admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth transition for students from recruitment to enrolment.
- Experience in student recruitment, outreach, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
This is a permanent, part-time role (14 hours per week, Monday & Friday). As part of the recruitment process, we will conduct social media checks on shortlisted candidates. Before commencing employment, all employees undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
