Kier Group is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to be a vital part of our Regional Civils team. This role is essential in delivering significant flood defense initiatives.

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will operate within the framework of the Environment Agency, facilitating the comprehensive delivery of critical projects.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Leading diverse teams, including commercial, program controls, and engineering, to develop solutions that meet client needs and establish a solid baseline plan for project management.
- Ensuring that project timelines are developed in accordance with P6 standards, providing the necessary detail for operational teams to execute the projects effectively.
- Tracking project progress, identifying potential setbacks, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to project specifications and commitments.
- Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and other members of the Senior Management Team to inspire, guide, and develop specialized teams to achieve objectives for both internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
This Project Manager role is ideal for you if:
- You possess prior experience with main contractors on civil or marine projects.
- You are a member of the Association for Project Management or a similar organization, actively pursuing chartered status or equivalent qualifications.
- You have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
