Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our secondary schools in Waltham Forest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide students with materials prepared by class teachers, ensuring minimal disruption to the learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behavior, adhering to the school's behavior policies and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, serving as a role model and encouraging them to stay on task.
  • Collaborate with the cover manager and teaching staff to ensure seamless coverage during teacher absences.
  • Represent Protocol Education professionally, maintaining punctuality and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding guidelines, with a valid DBS (desirable).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of your workload.
  • Consideration of a career in teaching or education.
