As a key member of the Valiant Pub Company team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pub. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and overseeing the day-to-day running of the business.

The pub has a great beer garden for those summer nights and benefits from a large function room/private dining room. This site has a premium food offering, with a focus on quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Oversee the preparation and serving of food and beverages
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point of sale system
