Position: ABA Therapy Assistant

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated ABA Therapy Assistant to join our team at LTF Recruitment. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in supporting students with diverse needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
As an ABA Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the educational development of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing individualized support to students in both one-on-one and small group settings, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  2. Implementing strategies aligned with each pupil's behavior plans to promote positive behavior and learning outcomes.
  3. Monitoring and managing challenging behaviors in accordance with established guidelines.
  4. Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  5. Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs, while maintaining accurate records as required.
  6. Collaborating with the Class Teacher to display student work and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
  7. Participating in data collection efforts to support assessment and planning processes.
