As a Safety and Compliance Consultant, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental practices throughout the organization.

Your primary duties will encompass offering expert advice and support to site personnel and management, performing inspections, and advocating for safe working practices.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel to multiple sites within the designated regions.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and rectifying hazardous working conditions, implementing effective and safe solutions, and ensuring proper documentation of any modifications.
  • Assisting the operational team in evaluating compliance documentation.
  • Ensuring adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Fostering a positive health, safety, quality, and environmental culture across the organization.
  • Conducting risk assessments, preparing method statements, and leading task briefings.
  • Advising and supporting staff to encourage sustainable practices.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of all requirements and findings.
  • Encouraging quality contributions, sharing lessons learned, and promoting best practices.
  • Building strong working relationships with site teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Championing health and wellbeing initiatives and guiding staff as necessary.
  • Preparing and conducting workforce engagement sessions.
  • Leading initial investigations into incidents.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks during the planning phase.

Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Construction Level - Level 6 certification (or equivalent).
  • Graduate-level IOSH Membership or equivalent.
  • Practitioner membership or higher in IEMA (or equivalent).
  • Mental Health First Aid certification.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Knowledge of operational methods and experience in site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Excellent listening skills and a positive demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and health, safety, quality, and environmental-specific systems.
