Residential Building Surveyor

About the Role:

BBL Property Recruitment is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our client's team as a Planned Preventative Maintenance & Major Works specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting managed properties, compiling maintenance plans, and overseeing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect managed properties across London and the Home Counties, with a focus on Hertfordshire and North London
• Compile fixed-term maintenance plans for 5 and 10-year cycles
• Prepare schedules of works and specifications for maintenance projects
• Oversight of maintenance plans, ensuring work is put out to tender and successful contractors are project managed to work completion
• Contract administration and condition surveys
• Project management of major works

Requirements:

• Experience in Planned Maintenance, response repairs, and major works relating to residential property
• Suitable qualifications or experience in a public or private sector background

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of up to £55,000 basic (plus package) depending on experience and qualification, with full home working offered from the outset.
